We are thrilled to introduce our Cooking
Classes/WorkshopS!

We look forward to imparting on participants our fondness of
wholesome well cooked foods, our whimsical twist on everyday ordinary
foods, and our love love love of the WOW factor!

Each Series will present an eclectic mix of topics, and, for now,
individual classes will not build on each other--we want any person, of
any skill level to walk into any individual class and not only have a
good time but walk away with an idea or a technique that will make
their cooking and eating life more enjoyable!

Please call with questions regarding the age of a participant --this series is not designed for young children,
but we do not want to exclude mature teens/adolescents accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
Winter Series 2010
Working in the Grains
Tuesday, February 23  6-8:45 pm
Many Health Experts suggest  working more whole grains into our daily meals.
What grains should be used? How should they be prepared? Will they taste good?
Whole grains can actually be quite tasty and versatile!
We will discuss the most popular/available grains, learn how to prepare them, and
finally create/make a couple of great dishes that everyone at your table will enjoy!
Registration cutoff:  02.19.10 at 2pm

Sauces, Chutneys, Salsas, etc
Tuesday, March 2  6-8:45 pm
Guests are always asking us how we create and pair the sauces in our dishes.
It's so easy!
Take the herb /fruit/vegetable you want to highlight and pair it with the perfect
balance of sweet, salty,  and sour ingredients.  Piece of cake, eh?  Well we
are going to make it so!  We are going to go through a series of tastings and pairings
and by the end of the evening you will literally be creating your own Sauces

until it is processed!  We are going to start with all natural organic chocolate
nibs and create foods that we can be proud to serve our children!  Then we
are going to explore more traditional chocolate techniques using chocolate
coverture that will kick up the wow factor every time!
